Prince Albert police say Doris Broussie was the victim of a homicide

Prince Albert Police Service and Parkland Ambulance responded to a business in the 3600 Block of 2nd Avenue West for a report of an assault on August 5th at approximately 3:20am.

Police located 40-year-old Doris Broussie suffering from serious injuries. She was rushed to hospital where she died of her injuries. The autopsy determined that the manner of death was a homicide, although the cause of death has not been released at this time.

The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) and Forensics Identification Section of the Prince Albert Police Service continue to investigate. No arrests have been made. Anyone who witnessed this assault or has information about this file is asked to contact police at 306-953-4222.
