Sarnia Police Service, along with Sarnia Lambton Paramedics, responded to a report on an injured man at a townhouse complex located in the 900 block of Confederation Street on January 9th at approximately 5:30pm.
Police located Luis Enrique Hernandez, 26, of Sarnia, suffering from serious injuries. Hernandez was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The cause of death has not been revealed at this time, however, the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch are actively investigating this incident as a homicide.

Timothy James Noj, 32, of Sarnia, was arrested at a local motel on January12th at approximately 1:00pm. Noj is facing a second degree murder charge in the death of Mr. Hernandez.
