Update: RCMP investigators continue to ask the public for information to assist in solving this crime – Police investigate the 2020 homicide of Donnie Lohnes in Luneburg County NS

Luneburg District RCMP responded to a local hospital on October 30th after being alerted of a man with life-threatening injuries.

The victim who has been identified as 57-year-old Donnie Lohnes died of his injuries on November 1st.

Police are interested in speaking to anyone who saw an altercation involving a group of people near Bridgewater Honda on October 25, which may be connected to their investigation.

Update: RCMP investigators continue to ask the public for information to assist in solving this crime. Donnie’s case has been added to the Nova Scotia Reward for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers up to $150,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in certain cases.
