The Sûreté du Québec received a complaint of an assault on August 25th in the morning for acts committed the day before.

Police arrived to find the man suffering from serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased in hospital.

No arrests have been made and an investigation has been opened by the Department of Investigation of Crimes Against the Person and the Major Crimes Investigation Division of the Sûreté du Québec.
