Police Investigate Homicide in Thunder Bay: Victim Dies from Life-Threatening Injuries

Officers from the Primary Response Branch were dispatched to the 1100 block of Lincoln Street just before 10 p.m. on January 14th.

Upon arrival, police found a male victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim was rushed to the hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced deceased.

A visible police presence remains in the area as investigators continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident. The Thunder Bay Major Crimes Unit, along with the Forensic Identification Unit, are actively working to gather evidence and determine the events leading up to the victim’s death.

At this time, no further details have been released regarding the identity of the victim or the cause of death. Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward as the investigation progresses.
