Vancouver, British Columbia 2023 Homicide Victim List is available here

Vancouver police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting that a man had been shot outside a South Vancouver banquet hall near Fraser Street and South East Marine Drive at 1:30 a.m. on May 28th.

Arriving officers performed CPR on the victim until paramedics arrived, however, the 28-year-old male victim died from his injuries. According to CTV Vancouver, The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of B.C., the provincial anti-gang agency, confirmed the victim was 28-year-old Amarpreet Samra.

Investigators believe this was a targeted shooting related to the ongoing gang conflict.
