St. Paul RCMP responded to a report of an unwanted male in a Saddle Lake home on July 8th at approximately 5:41pm.

On arrival police were notified that the unwanted person (Peter Faron Cardinal, 38) had fled the scene, however, 55-year-old Faron Houle was in the home and thought to be deceased.

Police located Faron Houle and performed CPR until paramedics arrived. Hould was pronounced at the scene.

On July 10th, police arrested Peter Faron Cardinal and charged him with Second-degree murder.
