The 2023 Mississauga Homicide Victim List is availbale here

Peel police were called to the report of a shooting in the area of Dream Crest Road and Fallingbrook Drive on March 20th at approximately 7:40pm.

On arrival police located an adult male suffering from gunshot injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim has been identified as, Bryan Lara-Alvarez, a 29-year-old man from Mississauga. Police believe that this was a targetted incident and that there is no evidence to suggest any public safety threat.
