Randy Evans, 54, was May 20th lying covered in blood, outside the doors of the Aurora Motel in Edmonton.
Evans was in critical condition when he was transported to hospital where he died a few days later.
Police have said that Evans injuries were from a beating, but will not release the cause of death.
On May 21, a 911 caller alerted the Sûreté du Québec that they would find two wounded people in a home. When police arrived, the people were dead.
The victims are 51-year-old Louise Hamel, and 54-year-old Mario Cournoyer.
This is now believed to be a murder suicide, and the police do not have any suspects.
Marlon Lennox Mason, 33, has died in hospital after being shot on May 21.
Police believe he was targeted and have no suspects at this time.

Chantal Demers 46, was missing since May 3rd before police found her body in a wooded area in the Portneuf region on the 10th.
Demers’ partner, Victor Poirier 47, was arrested several days after she disappeared and charged with assault causing bodily harm and first degree murder.
The body of Alpheus Burns, 70, was discovered in his home in Melfort on May 18th. Burns is a member of James Smith Cree Nation. At the time Mounties classified the death as suspicious.
Candace Gail Moostoos, 34, turned herself in on May 19th and has been charged with second-degree murder. Moostoos and Burns were known to each other, however their relationship has not been confirmed.
The cause of death has not been released.
On May 19, EMS were dispatched to the first 100 block of Cheltenham Cove for the report of an injured woman around 6 p.m. On arrival Officers found Kathleen Leary 66, suffering from injuries to her upper body, Leary was rushed to hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. Leary was attacked with three separate weapons including a knife, a metal rod and a hammer.
Police charged a youth who is known to the victim after finding him at the scene. He was later charged with first degree murder.
Redelma Belisario was found dead in her home on Woodhead Road in Richmond on May 19.
Darwin Lescano, the 38-year-old son of a Richmond, B.C. woman found dead in her home, has been charged with her murder.
The body of Nellie Angutiguluk, an Inuit woman originally from Nunavik, was found inside an apartment in Côte-des-Neiges on May 18.
Police considered it a suspicious death at first, but have since ruled it a homicide.
Police are asking anyone with information about the victim to come forward or call police.
Kwasi Alfred Benjamin, 29, was charged on Thursday with the first-degree murder of Nellie Angutiguluk.
Melissa Joyce Gabriel has been charged with manslaughter for her alleged involvement in the stabbing death of 89-year-old neighbour Dorothy Dykens in St. Boniface on May 18th.
The deceased is believed to be a well-liked woman named Dorothy, who lived alone. Police are not identifying the victim.
