Two Mac’s store clerks died December 18th after being shot during separate robberies in Edmonton.
Karanpal Singh Bhangu, 35, and Ricardo Cenabre 41, have been named as the victims in the fatal robberies. The first shooting took place 3:30 a.m. at the Mac’s convenience store at 32nd Avenue and the second at 3:45 am on 109th Street.
Colton Steinhauer 27, Laylin Delorme 24, and a 13 year old boy have been arrested and are facing first degree murder charges
A 20 year old male from Richmond Hill has been charged with 1st degree murder of his 62 year old father. Police were called to a home where they found the father dead at the scene on December 19th.
The cause of death has not been determined, and the names of the victim and the suspect are being withheld at this time.
The deaths of a Canadian soldier Robert Giblin 43, who served in Afghanistan and his pregnant wife Precious Charbonneau 33, are being investigated by Toronto police as a possible murder suicide.
Three days after the incident police found a fetus but said it was not related to the case.
The couple fell 22 story’s to their deaths on December 20th.
On January 19th police confirmed that the fetus found outside the apartment building where the murder-suicide of Robert Giblin & Precious Charbonneau happened was a DNA match to Precious Charbonneau.
Baylee Wylie’s body was in his home in Moncton December 19th after a fire. Firefighters and RCMP deemed the death of Wylie as suspicious.
RCMP are looking for 18 year old Tyler Noel and 20 year old Marissa Shephard.
The death of Baylee Wyile continues to be under investigation.

Devon Morningstar 19 has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the death on Baylee Wylee. Marissa Shephard and Tyler Noel are also facing charges of arson and murder, their court dates aren’t until October and May 2017
Update July 14th 2017
Tyler Noel pleaded guilty in May to second-degree murder and arson with disregard for human life in Wylie’s death. Noel was Sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 10 years, although the Crown was seeking 20-25 years before parole eligibility.
Marissa Shephard has been accused of first degree murder, she will go on trial February 2018.
Rosemarie Junor died December 16th at Hospital from her wounds. Junor 28, was at the Shoppers Drug Mart in the underground PATH while on a break from her job December 11th when she was stabbed in the chest by a woman. Her attacker was later named as Rohinie Bisesar.
Bisesar, was arrested on December 15th, after a manhunt the lasted for several days, and charged with second degree murder.
Mark Phillips 27, of Grande Prairie has been charged with second degree murder in the deaths of Amber Dawn Diebert 24, and Jody Topilko 30.
Phillips has been accused of killing Topilko between November 30th and December 8th. Phillips is also accused of killing Diebert on December 8th. Both bodies were found in rural areas of Grande Prairie.
The cause of death has not been disclosed at this time.
Firefighters called to a fire on Dézéry St., on December 18th. On arrival they found Francois Girard’s body.
Following the autopsy, police confirmed the man died as a result of a homicide, but would not disclose any information.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Police said they were responding to a 911 call to assist a citizen. On arrival they found Serfeal Okubagzi a two year old boy dead in a Mississauga apartment on December 14th. Okubagzi was stabbed by his mother Russom Tesfamar Yordanos.
Police are investigating the possibility that Russom Yordanos may have been suffering from postpartum depression. Yordanos also has a 6 month old daughter that is with the father.
Russom Tesfamar Yordanos was charged Tuesday December 15th with first-degree murder.
The Edmonton Police Service received a call of distress at a basement apt on Saturday December 12th. On arrival they found Yvette Lydia Morin 28 suffering from a life threatening wound.
Paramedics rushed Morin to hospital where she died later that day. Autopsy has confirmed Morin died of a gunshot wound.
