Ottawa police responded to a shooting in the 300 block of York Street on July 4th at approximately 11:54pm.

Police located L Ndongonzi Nkuzimana, 20, also known as Tyson Nkuzimana, of Ottawa, who was later declared deceased. Another 20-year-old male was found injured and transported to hospital where he is in stable condition.

Anyone who reside and/or work in the area bounded by Rideau Street, Coburg Street, Murray Street and Nelson Street to check their home surveillance equipment and/or their dashboard cameras for any suspicious activity between 11 pm and 1 am.

Update July 5th:
The Ottawa Police Homicide Unit is seeking public assistance to identify two persons of interest in the shooting on York Street that left a 20-year-old L Ndongonzi Nkuzimana dead and another one injured.

Update July 11th
A Canada wide Warrant has been issued for the arrest of Haybe Farhan ADEN 26. Aden is wanted for second degree murder in the shooting of Tyson Nkuzimana and for the attempted murder of a second man.
