Edmonton police responded to shots fired at a lounge located at 124 Street and 118 Avenue on March 12th at approximately 2:45am.
On arrival police and paramedic located two females and four males suffering from injuries. The victims were taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries. Police said a fifth injured male attended a hospital on his own. Imbert George, 28, died of his injuries, and four of the victims experienced non-life-threatening injuries and two remain in hospital in serious condition.
A vehicle believed to be involved in the incident was recovered at 79 Street and Schonsee Way. Residents and commercial property owners in these neighbourhoods are asked to review dash cam or security footage for any suspicious activity captured early this morning.
Update March 17th
An autopsy was completed and revealed the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds. Mohamod Mohamod, 22, also known as Toronto Rapper 1Hunnid GGG and Said Ibrahim, 23 were arrested and both charged with first degree murder, six counts of discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life and multiple other firearms offences.
A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a third accused male, Saed Osman, 27, (pictured) who is wanted for first degree murder, six counts of discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life and multiple other firearms offences.
