Newfoundland Murder Victim List 2023 is available here

The NL RCMP Major Crime Unit announced that they are investigating the death of a 43-year-old man who died early on August 4, 2023 in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. 

Police have not released the the cause of death or identity of the victim.

Residents can expect an increased police presence in the area of Lyall Street as the investigation continues. No general threat to the public has been identified.
