Nishnawbe Aski Police responded to a call of a person in medical distress at a residence on Nursing Station Road on July 16th at approximately 2:00am.

On arrival police located Lee Conroy Kakekagumick, 37, deceased. His cause of death has not been released at this time.

At this time, Lenroy Kakegamic, 35 of Deer Lake First Nation has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault.
