Nicholas Ryan-McKinnon is wanted by Manitoba RCMP for second-degree murder and aggravated assault in connection with a fatal stabbing in Dauphin

RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing at a house on 7th Avenue SE on August 16th at approximately 3:40am.

Police arrived to find a 32-year-old man suffering from a stab wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigators said an 18-year old man was also injured, however he was being treated at the hospital prior to police arrival.

RCMP said Nicholas Ryan-McKinnon, is wanted on second-degree murder and aggravated assault. Ryan-McKinnon is described as six feet tall, approx 165 pounds with light brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information about where Ryan-McKinnon is to call the Dauphin RCMP at 204-622-5020.

Update August 20th
Nicholas Ryan-McKinnon, 23, was arrested by Whitehorse RCMP Major Crimes Unit and Crime Reduction Unit on August 19th at approximately 3:40pm. Police are in the process of returning Ryan-McKinnon to Manitoba.
