Nellie Angutiguluk’s death ruled a homicide

The body of Nellie Angutiguluk, an Inuit woman originally from Nunavik, was found inside an apartment in Côte-des-Neiges on May 18.

Police considered it a suspicious death at first, but have since ruled it a homicide.

Police are asking anyone with information about the victim to come forward or call police.

Kwasi Alfred Benjamin, 29, was charged on Thursday with the first-degree murder of Nellie Angutiguluk.
