Const. Jean-Pierre Brabant said police were alerted of two deceased people inside of a cab by a passerby on March 19th at approximately 5:35am.

Police said  it’s too early to confirm the circumstances around the event and whether investigators are dealing with a double homicide or a murder-suicide.

Police said the deceased are a female in her 40’s and a man in his 50’s. The pair were found with stab wound injuries.

Montreal police spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant said that investigators have determined the woman was killed and the man died by suicide.
