Montréal police said a 34-year-old man was discovered with severe stab wounds near Ontario and Saint-Germain streets in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve area around 1 a.m. on Friday, March 14th.

Authorities believe the attack took place a few blocks away from where the victim was found. The man was rushed to the hospital but later died from his injuries.

Police have not identified any suspects and are seeking witnesses and surveillance footage.
