97-year-old Rita Ash Plamondon died as a result of a fire at Résidence Anjou on September 7th 2021.

According to reports Plamondon was located in the building and rushed to a hospital by ambulance where she died as a result of injuries she sustained in the fire.

Oscar Nelson Gonzales, 70, a man who lived in the same building was charged with Manslaughter and Arson on December 23rd, 2021.
