Montreal police said a 75-year-old man was assaulted during a home invasion when the suspects broke into an apartment in Montreal’s LaSalle borough on September 12th.

He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on September 17th.

Police said they have reason to believe the victim was not the intended target. Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous and confidential info-Crime line at 514-393-1133.
