Ottawa double homicide – Merrill Gleddie Rogers and Dave Rogers found dead

Montreal police contacted Ottawa police on Monday November 28th with information that Cameron Rogers, 22, confessed to killing his parents in Ottawa.

Ottawa police went to the home on Apeldoorn Avenue to check on the welfare of the owners. Police found Dave Rogers, 69, and his wife, Merrill Gleddie Rogers, 63 behind a shed in the backyard. One body was covered by a tarp, and the other was reported to be in a suitcase.

Cameron Rogers has been charged with two counts of first degree murder.

Police have not released the cause of death at this time.
