Police were called to a residence at Princess Anne Crescent and Bournemouth Road at around 2 p.m. on April 18 for reports of a stabbing inside a home.

On arrival police located Antonio Alonzi, 90, of Toronto suffering from Serious stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Toronto police have charged Massimo Alonzi, 32, with second-degree murder in the death of his grandfather.
