Montreal Emergency crews were called to the report of a fire on May 15th at 12:25 a.m in the area of Pointe aux Prairies Park, on Gouin Boulevard, near Highway 40.

Firefighters located the body of a man in the trunk of the vehicle. Jean-Pierre Brabant of the Montreal police said investigators are currently on the scene and a command post has been requested on site.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death, however, police said the death is the 10th Montreal homicide of 2022.
