La Loche RCMP responded to reports of a shooting on October27th at approximately 6:30am.

Police arrived at the residence to find 24-year-old Lucas Lemaigre of La Loche, deceased of a gunshot wound.

Police seized a firearm and arrested Tristin Janvier of La Loche, SK. Janvier has been charged with second degree murder.
