RCMP stated in a release, two years after the death of Carson Crimeni, a charge of Manslaughter has been laid against a 20-year-old man. A warrant for his arrest was issued by the BC Provincial Court. 

Carson Crimeni died on August 7th 2019 of a drug overdose near a Langley skate park as others stood by and allegedly filmed the events. Crimeni was later located alone in a ditch near the baseball field. He was rushed to hospital, where he died of an overdose.

The accused, who can’t be named due to his being a youth at the time of Carson’s death turned himself into police. He has been released from custody on bail and will appear in court on Oct. 20, Langley.
