Vegreville RCMP responded to a 911 report of an injured male at a residence in Vegreville. 57-year-old John Bijelic was found in serious condition and rushed to a Vegreville hospital, where he died of his injuries on June 2nd.

Kevin Vrdolak, 50, of Vegreville is now charged with manslaughter in the death of John Bijelic. Vrdolak was remanded into custody after a judicial hearing and is scheduled to appear in Vegreville Provincial Court on June 8, 2020.
