Kenneth Thomas Howe Identified as the victim of a homicide in Burnaby

Burnaby police were called to the 6200-block of Darnley Street for a report of a deceased male on August 12th at approximately 6:00am.

Police arrived at the commercial block where they discovered Kenneth Thomas Howe, 38, of Surrey deceased. Investigators are working to develop a timeline of Mr. Howe’s activities prior to his death.

Corporal Tim Pierotti of IHIT said “Although Mr. Howe was not believed to be involved in the Lower Mainland gang conflict, his death appears to have been targeted, Mr. Howe was known to frequent North Surrey and was always with his dog, Aurora:

Police are asking anyone who was travelling in Burnaby near Norland Avenue and Kensington Avenue north of Highway 1 between 10:00 p.m. on August 11 and 6:00 a.m. on August 12, 2021 with dashcam footage or who had seen anything suspicious to contact authorities at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448) or by email at ihitinfo@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
