Joseph Dominic Dicarlo, charged with first-degree murder in the death of a woman in Sarnia’s second homicide of the year

Sarnia Police Service officers responded to an address located on Lee Court on January 14th at approximately 12:30am, on the report of an injured woman.

Police, Lambton Paramedics and Sarnia Fire arrived to fins a woman seriously injured. The victim was rushed to ospital where she was pronounced deceased on arrival. Her identity and cause of death have not been released at this time.

According to @SusanTruppe on Twitter, the victim is her niece Natalie Bartlett, 39, a mother of two young girls.

Police arrested  Joseph Dominic Dicarlo, 45, at the scene and charged him with first-degree murder. The victim and accused were known to each other and there, however, their relationship has not been disclosed.
