Jordana Yakabuskie fatally struck by a vehicle in Horton Township, Cole Allard charged with Manslaughter

Ontario Porvincial Police were alerted by Renfrew Victoria Hospital staff just before midnight on February 19th, that Jordana Yakabuskie, 29, was struck and killed while outside of a vehicle on Highway 17 in Horton Township.

According to City News, Yakabuskie was transported by a passenger vehicle to the hospital sometime between 8 p.m. and midnight.

OPP have charged 27-year-old Cole Allard of Petawawa with manslaughter and dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death. The victim and the accused were in a relationship. A Facebook video shows the accused and the victim at the Freedom Convoy on February 18th.

Renfrew OPP is asking anyone that may have been driving in the area of Highway 17 between Gillan Road and Goshen Road, Horton Township, on Saturday February 19, 2022 between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., or if you have dash camera footage, to please call Renfrew OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
