Red Deer RCMP responded to a residence in the are of 58 Avenue and 69 Street in Red Deer to assist Emergency Medical Services with the sudden death of Dennis Anderson Edwards, 37, from Red Deer.

An autopsy was completed by the Calgary Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and revealed the manner of death to be a homicide. Cause of death has not been released at this time.

Jordan David Ruff, 29, of Drayton Valley was arrested on November 23rd and charged with First degree murder. As this matter is now before the courts, no further information can be provided.
