Jimmy Vince Robillard Arrested in Killing of Black Lake Man, 53th Saskatchewan Homicide

Jimmy Vince Robillard, 43, has been arrested for second degree murder in the killing of a as yet unnamed Black Lake, Saskatchewan man. The man was victim of a shooting that occurred in a residence around 8 am Sunday. The man was taken to hospital with injuries but succumbed shortly after.

Black Lake RCMP arrested a second man at the scene and seized a gun. The RCMP investigation is ongoing. Black Lake is located 1,180 km Northwest of Prince Albert in the far North of the province.

This is the 53th homicide in Saskatchewan so far in 2020, compared with only 44 homicides in all of 2019 in the province.
