Blood Tribe RCMP made an arrest after a lengthy investigation into the death of Sara-Jean Big Sorrel Horse.

On June 27th 2015, Blood tribe police were called to a home on the reserve where 37 year old Sara-Jean Big Sorrel Horse was found unresponsive. Big Sorrel Horse was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

On February 3rd 2017 Police arrested Jimmy Bad Man and charged him with manslaughter in the death of Sara-Jean Big Sorrel Horse.

Police said the accused and the victim were known to each other, but did not elaborate on the relationship.
