RCMP said Jason Claude Tremblay, 42, was seriously assaulted by two inmates on August 4th at approximately 7:30pm. Tremblay was rushed to hospital where he died of a stab wound. Tremblay had been serving time for possession and trafficking.

Giovanni James Alexis, 24, and Richard George Paul, 23, have been charged with first-degree murder by the RCMP. Both Alexia and Paul were already serving time for First-degree murder.
