Around 12:20 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, police and EMS were called to a home in the 400 block of East College Avenue after someone reported an injured man.
When officers arrived, they found the man and began trying to save his life, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene once EMS arrived.
The death was determined to be a homicide. The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Christopher Seaton of Regina.
Following the investigation, 36-year-old James Dubois, also from Regina, was arrested in Davidson, Saskatchewan with help from the RCMP, Regina Police Patrol, SWAT, Canine Units, and the RPS Aerial Support Unit. He has been charged with first-degree murder.
