IHIT investigates the homicide of Bo Fan in Surrey B.C

RMCP said Bo Fan, 41, was admitted to a Surrey hospital with serious life-threatening injuries on June 15th at approximately 5:30am. Fan died from her injuries in hospital later that same morning.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation discovered that Ms. Fan was a citizen of China and had been in Canada since February of 2019 prior to her homicide. Police said Bo Fan lived in the Grandview Heights neighbourhood of Surrey, and was last seen in the area of 168 Street and 27 Avenue in the overnight hours of June 16 and 17th.

Sergeant Frank Jang of IHIT said “Given what we know so far in the case, we do not believe Ms. Fan’s murder was random”.
