RCMP were called to a home on Windsor Street near Yale Road on December 13th at approximately 6:00pm.

On arrival police located Michael D’Lerma, 34, unresponsive suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Investigators said a SUV was found on fire near the Tzeachten Sports Field, and they are working with Chilliwack RCMP’s forensic experts to determine any links to the homicide.

IHIT had been deployed and will be working in partnership with the Chilliwack RCMP.
