Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to reports of an unidentified woman suffering serious injuries near 232 Street and 132 Avenue around 2:30 p.m on July 21st.

On arrival police and paramedics located a woman suffering from injuries. Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim died of her injuries.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken carriage of the investigation. The victim has been identified as HIT investigators have identified the victim as 58-year-old Christine Rogers, from Maple Ridge. Ms. Rogers’ name is being released to the public in an effort to advance the investigation and build a timeline of her activities leading up to the homicide.
