Slave Lake RCMP responded to report of an unresponsive person in the Lesser Slave River east of Slave Lake on August 5 th at approximately 8pm.

Police located the body of the woman, and at that time thought the victim could have been Nicole Robar. Miss Robar was reported missing on August 1st.

An autopsy was conducted and revealed the identity of the woman to be Nicole Brendan Robar 21. The cause of death has not been released, however police are calling the death suspicious.

Update August 16th
Slave Lake RCMP have announced that two people have been charged in connection to the death of Nicole Robar. Warren Kyle Warren, 34, and Jessica Melinda Davis, 27,  have been charged with second degree murder and indignity to human remains.
