The 2023 Quebec Homicide Victim List is available here

Notre-Dame-des-Prairies police responded to a 911 call on August 26th at approximately 2:00pm, a residence on Patrick Street.

On arrival police located Ian Lamontagne, 46, and his two sons, Antoine and Tristan who were both 3-years-old, deceased at the scene. Police are investigating it as a double murder-suicide. 

According to richmond-news.com Ian had been arrested for harassing the mother of the children just days before the murder suicide.

Quebec provincial police declined to offer further details.
