Home invasion target charged with second degree murder in Weyburn SK fatal shooting

Weyburn police responded to the 300 block of Fourth St. N.E on January 4th at approximately 9:00pm on report of an armed home invasion.

Police arrived to find 2 people suffering from injuries. Both of the injured were rushed to hospital where 18-year-old Nathan Hutt died of his injuries. Police said Hutt was part the group who have been accused of committing the home invasion.

Keegan Muxlow, 23, of Weyburn, the target of the home invasion, has been charged with second degree murder, unsafe storage of a gun and possession of a gun without a valid license. Dominick Hawkes, 23, of Weyburn, has been charged with break and enter and committing assault, wearing a disguise during the commission of an offence, possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, possession of a firearm without a valid licence, and possession of cocaine. William McLeod has been charged with break and enter, assault, and possession of a gun without a license.
