Hamilton police responded to 911 calls from tenants at 20 George Street advising a male was stabbing a female on the thirteenth floor hallway on April 26th at approximately 12:35pm.
Police arrived to find a 34-year-old male and 61-year-old Moui Khuu lying in the hallway suffering from stab wounds. Police also located a 67-year-old Hung Vo, suffering from serious stab wounds inside of a nearby unit. All three were rushed to the hospital where Khuu was pronounced dead at the hospital and 67-year-old Vo died in the operating room.
The 34-year-old Phuoc Hoa Vo is under guard at the hospital and will be charged with two counts of Second Degree murder when he regains consciousness. Police said the murder was domestic in nature and they are not looking for any other suspects and there is no danger to members of the public.

Phuoc Hoa Vo was found not criminally responsible (NCR) because of a mental disorder in at the Hamilton Courthouse on January 13th 2023. According to the Hamilton Spectator “Dr. Gary Chaimowitz, the head of forensic psychiatry at St. Joseph’s West 5th Campus, said Vo was initially diagnosed with delusional disorder, but is possibly evolving to schizophrenia.”
