Hamilton police stated in a twitter post on Sunday morning, July 19th that an investigation is underway in the area of Kendale Court near Limeridge Road West.
According to the social media post a male was located deceased after a street disturbance between the two groups. Several roads are closed. Please avoid the area.
Update – Hamilton police have confirmed that 19-year-old Ali Mohummad from peel region was stabbed to death in what police called “a full on brawl” between a Hamilton area group and the Peel region group. Det. Sgt. Peter Thom Said the weapons used were knives, sticks, rocks and a conducted energy weapon. Police said Mohummad was found deceased in the north-west corner of the parking lot of 11 Kendale Court.
Others were injured when they were run down by a vehicle. The video can been seen in a reply to the Hamilton police tweet linked above. Three others were rushed to hospital, two of whom were stabbed.
Update July 21
A 17-year-old male from Hamilton was arrested on July 20th on the Hamilton Mountain. He is facing charges of Second Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault (x2) and Assault with a Weapon.
Update July 22nd
On July 21st at 4:00pm Hamilton Police arrested a second 17-year-old male at his Mount Hope residence where a search warrant was also executed. Police seized a vehicle believed to be have been used by the two arrested males to flee the scene. he is facing charges of Second Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault (x2) and Assault with a Weapon.

Update April 8th 2021
police are looking to speak to the male captured in the surveillance footage as they believe he has material information to assist in the investigation. He is in his early 20s, black hair, full beard, wearing a grey and black t-shirt, dark pants, and black shoes.
Police are asking this male, or anyone who knows his identity, to call them.

Update May 13th, 2021
Hamilton police arrested a 17-year-old male at his west mountain residence without incident on May 12th. He was charged with Second Degree murder, Aggravated Assault (x2) and Assault with a weapon. He will be appearing in court in Hamilton on Thursday morning.
