Halton Regional Police Investigate the Homicide of Baljeet ‘Bally’ Toki at Montagio Custom Tailoring in Oakville

The Halton Regional Police Service’s Major Crime Bureau is looking into a suspicious death in Oakville.

On Saturday, March 22, 2025, around 5:30 p.m., officers were called after an adult male was found deceased in a building near Lakeshore Road East and Navy Street in Oakville.

Update March 25th: The victim, 43-year-old Baljeet ‘Bally’ Toki of Oakville (pictured below), was located inside Montagio Custom Tailoring on Lakeshore Road. Police said his death was the result of a homicide.

HRPS officers are currently canvassing the area for witnesses and surveillance video between the times of 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on March 22. Police are especially seeking video footage from the area between Trafalgar Road and Navy Street, north of William Street and south of Randall Street. They are also requesting anyone who was driving on Trafalgar Road between Lakeshore and Dundas Street, and may have dashcam video, to contact them.
