Gatineau police responded to the report of an unconscious and injured man at 187 rue Eddy on December 11th just before 8:00pm.

The male victim was rushed to hospital by paramedics where he died of his injuries. The canine unit, the intervention group, as well as Gatineau Police drone pilots were called upon on Friday evening to secure the perimeter. No suspect has been apprehended.

Update December 24
The deceased has been identified by police as Ryan Bracken, 31.
