Thompson RCMP responded to a report of an unresponsive female at an apartment located on Cree Road in Thompson on October 12th at 8:10pm.

Police arrived to find a 33-year-old female who was pronounced deceased. Police have not released her cause of death, only stating that her death was a homicide.

RCMP charged 25-year-old Garnet Spencer Budd, of Thompson, with Second Degree Murder on October 13th.
