Drumheller RCMP responded to an assist EMS call at the Drumheller Institution on February 21st at 1:08pm.
On arrival police were notified that an inmate, David James Klassen, 33, was deceased, and deemed the death suspicious.
As a result of the investigation four inmates have been charged with the murder of Klassen. Tyrel Brandon Lance Runningrabbit, 19, Trent Fox, 21, Vincent Robert Pierre Cardinal, 26, Thomas Joseph Alfred Abraham, 22, have all been charged with first degree murder.
