Police were called to a home in the 6900 block of Cook Avenue in Halifax on April 17th just after 8pm. On arrival police found  Tyler Richards, a former member of the Halifax Rainmen dead.

Police have not stated how Richards died, however there are speculations that he was shot.

Police would like anyone with information about Richards or the killing to call them at 902-490-5016 or make an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.

Tyrell Peter Dechamp, 27, has been charged with 2 counts of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of Tyler Richards and Naricho Clayton in Halifax. Richards and Clayton were gunned down 2 days apart.
