Toronto police were called to a personal injury collision at 9th and 10th streets in Etobicoke on Monday, August 13, 2018, at 11:01pm.
It is alleged that 48-year-old Joey Stele and 40-year-old Constantinos Hondrocostas were involved in an altercation. Stele received life threatening injuries and Hondrocostas fled the scene in a Dodge.
Stele was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. Constantinos Hondrocostas, 40, of London, Ontario, was arrested and charged with Manslaughter, Criminal Negligence Causing Death, Fail to Stop at Scene of Accident Causing Death , Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death, Impaired by Drug.
