Edmonton police responded to assist EMS at a residence in the area of 123 Avenue and 127 Street on January 21st at approximately 12:15 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased adult female. The Edmonton Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024, and confirmed that the death of Madisyn Denea, 29, was a homicide. Investigators will not be releasing the cause of death at this time.
