The 2023 Edmonton homicide victim list is available here

Edmonton police responded to a report of suspicious activity in an apartment suite in the area of 80 Avenue and 105 Street on August 4th at approximately 8:45 p.m.

On arrival, police located Kenny Nyemeg Yetna, 24, deceased inside the apartment unit. An autopsy was completed on August 10, 2023, and the manner of death was determined to be a homicide.

Homicide detectives are asking anyone with insight or information about the events leading up to the death of Yetna to contact police at 780-423-4567.
